Paragraphs
For WordPress agencies

Translation infrastructure your clients can't outgrow.

WPML site = WPML maintenance forever. Paragraphs = portable translations, multi-client billing, white-label dashboard. Replace a recurring cost with a margin line.

The agency problem

Why WPML maintenance becomes a tax.

Every WPML site you maintain is a long-term commitment to its admin model and its licence renewal. Migration off WPML is expensive enough that most agencies don't even consider it. Then there's the SEO baggage, the URL constraints, the support tickets from clients confused by the locale switcher.

What changes

Three operational shifts.

One backend across clients

All your client sites in one dashboard. Multi-tenant project structure. Per-client billing surface. You see the whole portfolio.

Portable translations

Your clients aren't locked into WP. When you eventually pitch them a headless rebuild, their translations move with you.

White-label everything

Custom domain on the dashboard, your logo, your colours. Clients log into your-translations.agency, not paragraphs.co.uk.

Revenue model

Resell at your own price.

Paragraphs Agency tier bundles 15M words / month across unlimited client projects. Resell to clients at your own rate. Common pattern: charge a per-client retainer that bundles translation cost into your fee, with clear visibility per client so you can true up annually.

Onboarding script

Three steps to migrate a WPML client.

  1. 1. Audit on a staging site. Install the Paragraphs plugin, point at staging, run the WPML importer with --dry-run. Get a word count and a translation-quality report.
  2. 2. Migrate. Re-run with --execute. Translations land in the graph with status tm_match where they came from WPML, approved where you've signed off.
  3. 3. Cutover. Flip delivery mode to edge-runtime. The site serves translations from the Worker. Old WPML duplicate posts stay in place until you delete them.
